Sustainability
committed to our
responsibility
We want to create profitable growth in a sustainable way by developing products that are good for people, and at the same time minimizing our impact on the environment.
As an international company and part of Orkla Health, a leading branded consumer health company, we are committed to our social responsibility and have begun our journey towards green growth and achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045.
THE UN SUSTAINABLE GOALS
We use the UN global Sustainable Development Goals to guide our direction. We have chosen to focus on the following goals:
- Goal 3: Good health and well-being
To NutraQ this means offering health products of high quality and making them easily available to everyone by delivering directly to our customers. We carefully select our suppliers and raw materials and have strict quality and ESG criteria. - Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth
As a company with more than 200 employees spread over Europe, we set high standards to how we treat our employees. Their health is crucial to the company. We also strive for a high diversity when it comes to gender, ethnicity and age. The social conditions in our supply chain are important for us, so all suppliers must meet our requirements for employee rights, social conditions and sustainable production by committing to our Code of Conduct. - Goal 12: Responsible consumption and production
We recognize that our operations have a footprint. One of our most important initiatives in the time to come is therefore to improve our product packaging so that it becomes as sustainable as possible. Our goal is that all our packaging is made of recycled materials and fully recyclable towards 2030. We also have focus on reducing transport through good procurement planning and are preparing for Net Zero emissions by 2045
